Circuit City sucks!! They are more expensive than Best Buy and they employ jackasses. We went to buy a Game Cube and 4 games when the system was brand new and the abolish insisted we give her a phone # on a cash acquire. When we told her that we didn't have a phone (just to see what she would say) she said she couldn't complete our purchase without one. WTF!! Since when do you have to undergo a phone to buy something? I suppose we could undergo given her our # or made up any old ph# but her attitude and communicate sucked so we just left and needless to say we took our business elsewhere and have never gone approve to a go City since.
I've never been to Circuit City but as far as I am concerned Best Buy is NO exceed. I bought a Gateway laptop (spent $900) and only had it for a DAY and a half and it would shut itself down after and hour er so and it also would not hold an internet connection. I wanted to exchange for a different one and they told me I be to displace it approve to Gateway for repair. After much worry they finally agreed to give me a new one. I convey. I only had this $1000 item for basically a DAY. After having THAT one for a month it too would not hold its internet connection and I was told by Gateway to take it to Best Buy and they would send it approve to Gateway for me to be repaired. When I took it to Best Buy they were NOT cooperative in the least and proceeded to express me that they did not give shipping services and that I would be to take it to UPS or somewhere else. When I told them that I had already spoke to Gateway and was told since I had bought it at Best Buy that they would send it back FOR me he went off to address it with someone and came back with a shipping box and told me they would do it this measure but any future problems would have to be taken care of by me. So I really dont evaluate it is just go City.. its the greed of these chains and many others only wanting our money and nothing more!!

Except on my end after filling out discount forms for all pieces they sent me a $50.00 dollar rebate and said that was all that applied. My wife spent hours on the phone getting the runaround from third parties and we decided it was in our case a $230.00 lesson whay not to buy from Circuit City. Just wish we had found it out earlier as we spent over 5k there last year. Their in house extended service plan sucks too. We undergo had 3 issues so far on that. I think beat Buy does a exceed job. It is a more comforting environment to obtain in. In my undergo living in multiple states most go City stores are dark and have unpleasant employees. I'm sitting here reading this on the laptop we bought measure December from Circuit City thinking about the extended warranty we purchased with it and remembering how I got a separate from Circuit City stating that because of info received from the store we would not be receiving our discount.
